About

Why this product exists

Futureproof Career is a founder-built product for people who want to examine their real work before making an expensive career decision.

Career pathways linking changing tasks to adaptation and adjacent roles
Career pathways become clearer when changing tasks, transferable strengths and adjacent roles are considered together.

The problem it is designed to solve

Most AI career advice starts with a job title and ends with a verdict: safe, exposed or obsolete.

That ignores what a person actually does and encourages high-cost decisions from weak evidence.

Futureproof Career starts with recurring tasks and keeps exposure, human resilience and useful AI assistance separate.

Built by David Dacruz

David is an independent AI product engineer. He designed and built the product, its deterministic scoring service, content system and local test adapters.

Founder-built describes authorship and accountability; it does not substitute for the qualified scoring, occupation, accessibility and legal review required for production.

Product principles

A useful result should be available without a résumé, account or email. A person should be able to correct the task list, see why a score exists and distinguish evidence from an assumption.

An LLM may explain approved material, but deterministic code owns every score and eligibility decision.

  • Task-level before title-level
  • Three lenses instead of one fear score
  • Private and anonymous by default
  • Versioned methods and visible limitations

How the launch works

The assessment and useful result cost $0. During the Founding 100 launch, the first 100 completed results can also generate the detailed action report for $0 without a card or subscription.

Optional research consent is separate, off by default and does not affect eligibility.

Where the product stops

Futureproof Career does not predict layoffs, recommend a guaranteed safe occupation or replace a qualified career adviser.

It does not know your local vacancies, finances, health, visa position or employer plans.

The result should improve the next question or experiment—not make a consequential decision on your behalf.
